VICTORIA A. STAMPFEL passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Villa St. Francis in Lenexa, KS after a courageous battle with cancer. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Monday, Aug.3 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd St. Overland Park, KS with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the church. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Vicky was born and raised on Strawberry Hill in Kansas City, KS and worked for over 40 years at General Motors, retiring April 1, 2005. She was a selfless fun loving person, full of life and love. Vickys loves were her mother, godchildren, cousins, golf, music and reading. "To all my family and friends, whom I loved and loved me all my life, THANK YOU, as well as the Kansas City Hospice and Villa St. Francis staffs who cared for me and all who prayed for me; making my life so wonderful. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Joseph and Helen Stampfel, George and Victoria Habiger,her father, Anthony Stampfel in 1960, and her beloved pets. She is survived by her mother: Nellie C. (Habiger) Stampfel, godchildren: Brian P.Trzok, Courtney M. Dame, and Ryan E. Dame, and numerous cousins.
