Thomas J. Macias, Jr. 87, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Sunday, April 30th, 2023, at KU Med Center. Funeral Services for Thomas will be on Friday, May 12th beginning with a Visitation from 10AM to 11AM then Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at All Saints Catholic Church, 811 Vermont Ave. Burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KCK.

Thomas was born April 14, 1936, in Kansas City, Kansas to Thomas and Josephine (Segura) Macias. He was one of 10 children. Thomas was very close to his brothers and sisters and taught his own children how important family is. He would give you the shirt off his back and make sure you were treated kindly. He lived by the “Golden Rule.” Treat others they way you want to be treated.

Surviving are his children, Thomas A. Macias, Kimbra Senda, Dana Heany, David Macias, Ricky Macias, and Mario Macias his brothers, Robert, Carlo, Paul and Guadalupe and many grandchildren and great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce Forquaren, brother Frank Macias, sisters; Rosie (Tony) Lopez, Mary Helen Garcia, Anita Macias, Caroline Galvan, Mary Seyedi, Rochelle Macias and son-in-law, David Heany.
