Sister Alice Restrepo, Servant of Mary, Minister to the Sick, 91, peacefully died on April 3, 2021 at the convent where she lived. Friends may call at the Sisters Chapel 800 N. 18th St., KCK, from 5:00 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 7, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be 12 Noon, Thursday at the convent. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Sister Alice was born Fabiola Restrepo Echeverri in Antioquia, Colombia on Jan. 31, 1930 to Ramon and Magdalena (Echeverri) Restrepo. Sister Alice was admitted to the Congregation on July 7, 1950 in Medellin, Colombia. She took her Temporal Vows on July 7, 1952 in Medellin, and her Perpetual Vows on July 8, 1958 in Panama. Sister Alice came from Colombia to the United States on July 10, 1952. She served her community in convents in Los Angeles, CA; New York; Oxnard, CA and the last 35 yrs. in Kansas City.
