Shirley Anne ( Morris) Stewart passed away peacefully Friday morning, November 18,2016 surrounded by love and immediate family at the Vitas Hospice Facility, Sunrise, Florida. Shirley was born August 10, 1926 to Guy and Edna Morris of Topeka, Kansas. Shirley was employed at multiple firms in her career as an executive secretary, including the John Morrel Company in Ottumwa, Iowa, and The FDIC- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in the greater Chicago, Illinois area. Shirley was preceded in death by her father Guy, her mother Edna, her brothers Bud and Robert, sister Dorothy, and daughter Linda. Shirley was married to the late Henry L. Stewart, Sr, also of the greater KCMO area until 1979. Shirley is survived by two children, Jane A. Beekmann, Parkland, Florida and Henry L. Stewart Jr (Gootch) of Winneconne, Wisconsin, nieces and nephews in the greater Kansas City communities. Shirley enjoyed sporting events, and watching her grandson play baseball. A wonderful loving and caring mother, kind person, with a keen business mind, Shirleys journey on Earth has been completed. We thank you Lord, for the precious time we were allowed to spend with Shirley.
