Bob Kline passed away on January 5th, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Robert Joseph Kline was born April 7th,1947 to Rose Draskovich Kline and John Kline in Strawberry Hill, Kansas where he lived with his sister, Linda. He graduated from Bishop Ward High School in 1965 where he played basketball and baseball. In 1966, he was drafted into the Army to serve his country in Vietnam until he was honorably discharged in 1968. When he returned to Kansas City, he began work at Hallmark Cards where he remained for 43 years until retirement. Bob was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan. He went on to work for the Royals and was able to see the World Series win in 2015. Bob was a longtime Club Officer at St. Johns Men’s Club, Wednesday night bowler, and Croatian Festival volunteer. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Roslyn Kline, his sons Scot (Petra) Kline and Eric (Angie) Kline, his daughters Natalie (Ryan) Johnsen and Nicole (Brent) Pfaff, his sister, Linda (Jim) Payton and his seven beloved grandchildren and numerous lifelong friends. Services will be held at Skradski Funeral Home at 340 N 6th St, Kansas City, KS 66101 on Saturday, January 11th. Visitation is at 12:00 and service will follow at 1:00.
