Raymond A. Segura, 83, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016. He leaves his loving wife of 60 years, Rachel, five devoted children: Suzanne Brooks (Dan), Julie Gregory (Kirt), Sara Podrebarac (Mike), Rebecca Swanson (Lon), and Stephan (Donna), twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers Henry and Albert Segura, as well as two sisters, Mary Lou Reyes and Theresa Reyes. He was preceded in death by their son Raymond Jr., grandson Lucas, his sister Socorro Castro, and brothers David, Tony, Fred and Joe Segura. Raymond was a devout Catholic who always put his faith in God and family first. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Honor Guard in the Knights of Columbus for many years. Together, Raymond and Rachel created a warm and loving home which is the heart of the family. He will be dearly missed by many. Visitation will be at Holy Family Catholic Church, 274 Orchard St. in KCK from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 23, with the Rosary beginning at 5pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Friday, June 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11311 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in KCK.
