Patricia Ann Waliczek

Patricia A. Waliczek (Long) 83, died March 6, 2021 in Kansas City, Kansas from Cardiac Arrest. Pat was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas and an active member at All Saints Parish. Pat was married to Thomas S. Waliczek for 58 years. She volunteered at Hot Lunch Services (St. Marys Food Kitchen), which spanned 38 years of devoted service as parish coordinator and on their board of directors. She was an active caring member in her community. Working with groups like Polski Day committee, officer of Holy Rosary Sodality, member of All Saints Choir. She loved working in her yard, cheering for the Chiefs and KU basketball, playing canasta, going to the movies, and casino with her friends. She was a vibrant woman who would strike up a conversation with anyone and was loved by all who knew her.
Services will be held March 12 at All Saints Parish, 801 Vermont, Kansas City, KS 66101 with Visitation at 9:00 am, Rosary at 10:45, with Funeral Mass to follow at 11 am. Entombment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to her two great passions All Saints Parish or Hot Lunch Services.
Pat is preceded in death by her mother and father, Thomas and Mary Long, sister, Mary (John) Banks and brother Thomas Long. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Thomas, her son Tom, daughter Mary Delac, granddaughter Lourdes Madrigal, brothers, Bill (Florence) Long and John Long, sisters in laws Loretta (Bill) Horton and Mary Waliczek, brother in laws, Joseph (Carlene) Waliczek, and Paul (Jean) Waliczek, many loved cousins, nieces and nephews, godchildren and loving friends who are like extended family.
