Patrice C (Vandenboom) Sweet-Ramirez (Pickles) passed away in her sleep quietly at home July 17,2021 in Kansas City, Kansas. Patrice lived a full life with the love of family in her heart in soul , having been adopted at an early age from the same orphanage as her adopted father Lt. Col. Richard O. Vandenboom (Irene Addington). Patrice never met a stranger , her laugh was something to be remembered. Patrice was active in AA with 34 years of sobriety, she had sponsored many ladies and some gentlemen in the road to recovery. Patrice could be ready to go at the drop of a hat , keys in hand (much to the cringing of many family members her driving skills left lasting impressions). Patrice was an amazing mother , grandmother, great grandmother, she was a light in the lives of her family , friends, and AA Family her loss will be felt for a very long time. Patrice is proceed in death by her parents Lt. Col. Richard O. Vandenboom and Mother Irene (Addington) Vandenboom, grandparents D. Kent Frohwerk and Frances C (Addington) Frohwerk, Husband Steven Ramirez Jr. , Son Steven Ramirez III, Sister-in-law Teresa R. Salazar , her Nephew Richie Ramirez, her Niece Johnna Eubanks, her Nephew Steven Salazar. Patrice is survived in life by her Brother in law Richard Paul Ramirez (wife Mickey), Brother in law John Salazar, Daughter Stacey Folsom (Ivan), Daughter Julie Gall (Don), Son Michael Ramirez (Melissa), Son Thomas Ramirez (Kim),
Daughter in law Tammy Reese Ramirez,
Daughter in law April Ramirez-Wiedner (Steve),
Adopted Sister Carolyn Sue Kennedy.
