On October 10, 2018, Pamala A. Grisnik passed away after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Donna (Carr) and Anton J. Grisnik. Surviving family include a sister, Patricia Peppler (Richard) from Winter Park, FL and cousins Cynthia Clark and Jaime Clark and his children and grandchildren.
Pamala enjoyed 50 years in the banking industry. She started her career with Victory National Bank which became part of the Security National Bank System. She was one of the founding board members of the Gardner National Bank in Gardner, Kansas. Pam then joined the Industrial National Bank family which became part of the Security National Bank Community. She ended her distinguished career as a Vice-President with Security National Bank.
Pams fondest activity was sitting on the dock of her lake property teasing a huge catfish or two out of the Lake of the Ozarks or sitting on the Florida beach with her sister.
Pam traveled with family enjoying horse and dog shows particularly the Australian Shepherd Club of America. Pam was extremely fond of her time with the 4H Dog Project families in Wyandotte County. She was also involved with Business & Professional Womens Association in Kansas. She gave time to the KCK Womens Chamber of Commerce and the Girl Scouts of America in Kansas City early in her banking career.
Celebration of Pamalas life will begin Tuesday, Oct. 16th with a visitation at Noon, and Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00PM at St Johns the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N, 4th, KCK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Strawberry Hill Museum.
