Morris Glenn Yingst, 91, passed away on April 9th, 2024. Morris was born to Glenn and Lois Yingst on March 12, 1933 in Pittsburg, Kansas, and after he came to Kansas City, he made it his home as a lifelong resident.
Morris entered into the military as a member of the Army of the United States on April 1st, 1953. He was honorably released from duty as a Corporal on March 10th, 1955. Back in Kansas City, he would find many lifelong friends whom he would frequently dine out with at Fritz's Railroad Restaurant.
Morris is preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his cousin, Jim Claypool, his close friend, George Gallup, as well as extended friends and family. Morris requested his body be donated to science in order to help others, and in doing so is foregoing any planned funerary services for the foreseeable future.
