Michael Kokoruda, 42 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Overland Park Regional. Visitation will be 5-7PM, Friday at Skradski Funeral Home, 340 North 6th Street, KCKS with Rosary at 6:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial is 10AM on Saturday, August 4, at Cathedral of St. Peter, 409 North 15th, KCKS. Burial to Follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, KCKS. In lieu of flowers family suggests memorials be made to the Cathedral of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Michael was born Feb. 17, 1976 in KCK, to Mike and Bridget (Conroy) Kokoruda. He was a graduate of St. Peters, Bishop Ward and Conception Abbey. Michael worked at FedEx in the Customer Information Services department. Michael was a kind and giving soul. Michael was primarily concerned with his faith, family and friends. Michael continuously helped others. He was dedicated to volunteer activities at St. Peters and other organizations. Michael loved life traveling to Lourdes, France, Ireland and Lithuania among many other countries. He loved spending time with his nieces, watching sports with his brothers and spending time with his mother. Whenever someone needed a hand Michael was there to help and led a Christian life.
He will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his Mother, brothers; Patrick and William Kokoruda, 2 nieces, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Preceding him is his Father Michael James Kokoruda.
