Melinda 'Lenni' Sue Henre

Melinda Sue Henre "Lenni" born February 26, 1965, fell asleep in the Lord of the morning of January 18, 2021 at KU Medical Center. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21, at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 11001 Greenwood St, Lenexa, KS, beginning with visitation from 9:00AM to 11:00AM and Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial following at Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Melinda's name to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
She was a life long resident of Kansas City, Kansas. She was a graduate of F.L. Schlagle High School, Class of 1983. During High School she attended AVTS and received a certificate in Cosmetology.
Melinda was a Devoted Chief's fan, supporting her favorite team in good and bad times. She also loved spending time with her family.
She was the sixth child in a family of nine children to Gerald and Darlene "Dukovich" Henre. She was an Honorable Christian, attending St. George Serbian Orthodox Church all her life.
Melinda was a Sweet Soul with a kind and soft heart. She loved everyone and was a joy to be around. She is preceded in death by her father and survived by her mother, three brothers, five sisters, eight nephews, six nieces, one great nephew, five great nieces, three sisters in laws and one brother in law.
