Mary Dolores (Macias) Seyedi, 67 of Lenexa, Kansas passed away March 16, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Services for Mary will be Wednesday, March 24th at All Saints Catholic Church, 811 Vermont Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas starting with a Visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 AM and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Kansas City, Kansas.
Mary was born September 15, 1953 to Thomas and Josephine (Segura) Macias, in Kansas City, Kansas. She worked as a cook for the Shawnee Mission School District for many years. Mary loved to cook and her favorite dish to make was enchiladas. When cooking though she couldnt just make a small amount for just her immediate family she would make enough for the whole neighborhood. She didnt know a stranger and made sure everyone left her house full!! Not only full from the wonderful food she made but full from the big heart and love she had for everyone. Mary loved to dance and was always smiling.
Mary is survived by her husband, Eddie and children: Rodney (Tiana) Seyedi and Anita Seyedi, grandchildren; Alecia, Bella and Juliano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Frank Macias, her sisters; Rosie (Tony) Lopez, Mary Helen Garcia, Anita Macias, Caroline Galvan, sister-in-law Joyce Macias and Connie Macias, nephews; Michael, Paul and Miguel Macias, Stephen Castleberry Hernandez, Kavian Seyedi, Austin Quijas, nieces: Theresa Rene Macias and Eve Angeline Bonilla.
