Mary Ann (Rodina) Heinson passed away on July 9, 2016. She was born on November 6, 1930, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Steve and Katie (Belen) Rodina. She married George Heinson on April 16, 1955.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, her sister Helen Nasternak and her brother Albert Rodina. She is survived by her daughter Victoria (Lynn) Tate, daughter Karen (Doug) Greig, and son Mark (Joan) Heinson, as well as grandchildren Alexis Tate, Grant Heinson, Brandon Heinson, Katja Greig, Andrew (Amanda) Greig, and great-granddaughter Isabelle Greig. Special thanks go to her nephews, Bill and Scott Rodina, for without their daily care and attention she could not have remained in her home for as long as she did.
Mary Ann loved watching the Chiefs, KU basketball, traveling around the world with fellow TWA employees, and family dinners with her children and grandchildren.
Services for Mary Ann will be held on Saturday, July 16, at St. Patricks Church of Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patricks Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.skradskifh-kc.com
