Mark Bryon Hanson

Mark Bryon Hanson passed away December 7, 2020, at Medicalodges Leavenworth where he lived for over twelve years. Born December 21, 1948, Mark grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, attending Bishop Ward High School where he was an honor graduate. He then attended the University of Kansas, studying Philosophy and Psychology.
Despite dealing with serious health issues most of his adult life, Mark was an inspiration in the way he modeled Christian contentment and joy. He filled his days with prayer and the study of Gods Word. Each week Mark looked forward to worshipping with his church family. This humble saint will be deeply missed at Northland Reformed Church, where he was a founding member.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Mark O. Hanson and Helen Strumillo Hanson, his brother Ralph Hanson, and his brother Clement Hanson. He is survived by his sister-in-law Mary Hanson (Clement), two nephews, and one niece.
A gravesite service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.
