Louis Quijas, age 83, of Kansas City, KS., died Monday, November 30, 2015, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday Dec. 4 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 44 N Mill, KCKS. Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday, Dec 3, at the church with Rosary at 6:30 PM. Interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KCKS.
He made so many lifelong friendships while working at TWA. Father, grandfather, uncle and cousin to many. He will be missed.
Preceding Louis in death were his parents, Augustine and Antonia (Valdivia) Quijas, wives Helen (Cox) and Kathryn (Griffin) Quijas; daughter, Loretta Suzanne and son, Anthony Michael. Surviving are sons; Louis (Jeanie), Alexander (Vickie), Carlos (Kim) and John Quijas, daughters; Christina Cavallaro, Theresa Garcia, Julie (Stephen Rehm) Ford and Kimberly (Don) Wilson along with 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
