Lena Mai Hayes

Lena M. Hayes, 93 of Kansas City, Ks passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015. Visitation services will be held from 9-10 am on Friday, Oct. 2, followed by a 10am Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 274 Orchard Street, Kansas City, KS. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. She was an active and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Hayes enjoyed gardening; remodeling, walking and playing with her dog and cat. Lena was preceded in death by her husband Frank (1961), one brother and six sisters. Survivors include her two sons, Don (Bonnie) and Frank (Sheryl) Hayes. Four grandchildren; Linda, Cathy, Donald and Ryan. Six great grandchildren; Hallsie, Brennen, Mathew, Isabella, Makenna, Sophia along with many cousins and friends.
