Lea Ann England

November 8, 1962 — July 6, 2015

Lea Ann England, 52 passed away July 6, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospice House. Visitation for Lea will be Friday, July 10, 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church Basehor, KS, with rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 10:00 AM at the church. Contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospice House.
Lea was born in Kansas City, KS to Rosemary O'Grady Pagacz (Vesel) and Stephen Pagacz. She graduated from Bishop Ward High School and later Rockhurst Colllege. While attending Rockhurst, she was introduced to the love of her life, William Scott England. They were married January 16, 1993. She welcomed her miracle baby, Emma Lynn, on November 13, 1994. Lea worked for 13 years in the lab at St. Lukes Hospital and later at Avaya as a business analyst. Her favorite times were spent with Scott and Emma at horse shows, traveling and looking for the next adventure. She also loved being another "Grandma" to her new great-nephew, Roman, and spending time with many friends and family members. Lea had a big heart for all animals-especially her dogs. She never turned down a new animal in her house. She was always willing to help those in need and she loved her life. Those who know and love her will miss her big smile, loving heart and generous spirit.
Lea was preceded in death by her father; brother, Larry and sister, Debbie Dercher. Surviving are husband and daughter; sister, Vicki (Dave) Graff, nephew and niece, Scott and Lisa Graff, brother, Dennis (Connie) Pagacz, niece Taylor Pagacz, (like a son) nephew Brian (Crystal) Dercher, great nephews Manny, Noah and Roman Dercher.
