Larry R. Moody

Larry R. Moody was born on 03/02/1949 in Kansas City, Mo to Ralph E. and Dorothy L. Moody (Hendrix)
He was a graduate of Rosedale High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and served during the Vietnam War. He held several different jobs, and later retired from Nazdar as one of their top salesmen.

Larry enjoyed bowling in his younger life, he was one of the Top 10 high score bowlers in Missouri earning a ring for bowling a perfect game. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle with his friends. He enjoyed watching sports especially baseball and football.
Larry was well known for his quick wit and practical jokes. If he couldnt remember your name, he would make one up for you.

He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Moody, daughters, Beth and Colleen Moody and sister, Debbie Abbott.
He is survived by his wife Theresa Macek-Moody, his mother Dorothy Hendrix, granddaughter Brittani (Santi) Hurtado and 3 great grandchildren: Jacob, Aiden and Isabella.

He is also survived by his farm animals who he would tell you that he loved more than some family members. No-Nuts the steer, Mack the jack, Lizzi and Kizzi the barn cats and Spudz the family dog.

Per Larrys request there will be no services.

We will be having a celebration of life dinner on July 16th at 1:00 pm at the Macek/Chick Family party barn.
