Katheryn L. (Ratkey) Creten, 91 of Basehor, Kansas went home to her Lord on March 20, 2018. Born, November 30, 1926 in Littleton, Colorado to Charles and May Weakley. She married Al Ratkey and lived in Kansas City, Kansas. Katheryn was always a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (GA GA). She was the heart of the family, loved and served both family and church. Katheryn belong to Holy Angels Catholic Church where she served as Sacristan, Eucharistic and Pastoral Assistant for weddings, baptisms and funerals services. She belong to many charity organizations.
She was preceded in death in 1985 by her first husband Al Ratkey, son Robert Ratkey in 1964 and 2nd husband Robert Creten (2017), parents, four sisters; Shirley, Colleen Blansit, Lucy Clifton, Maxine Brown and one brother John Weakley, and adoptive parents Clarence and Ada Gephard.
Katheryn leaves behind daughter, Kathy (Brent) Burford, granddaughters; Erin (Matt) Barthelme and Amy Burford, great grandchildren; Gwen, Leah, Scarlett and Robbie Barthelme and Step children; Donna, Keith, Kathie and Gregg Creten and their families.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Great-Grandchildren Scholarship Fund, Holy Angels Adoration Chapel and St. Judes Research Hospital.
