Joseph T. Magadan Sr., 86 of Kansas City, Kansas died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Providence Medical Center. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 13, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2203 Parallel, KCKS., with Visitation beginning at 9:00. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Church.
Mr. Magadan was born July 5, 1929 in Kansas City, Ks. He was a beloved Dad and wonderful loving man whose family was always his priority. Joe was very active in the church and the Knights of Columbus. He will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Marie Magadan; wife Beatrice; brother, Peter; daughter, Beatrice Vega; son, Stephen and great grandson, Kyle Crosier.
Joseph is survived by four children, Lorrayne Gilchrist, Antoinette Moran, Elizabeth Moran all of Kansas City, Ks; Joseph T. Magadan Jr.,, Fayetteville, AR; two sisters Esperanza (Hope) Rivera, Consuelo (Connie) Ramirez both of Kansas City, Ks; Thirteen Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren.
