John Grosko

John S. Grosko, 65, passed away January 10, 2015. Visitation will be held from 9-11:00 AM Thursday, January 15th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Patrick Catholic Church.John was born August 18, 1949 in Kansas City, KS to Fred and Genevieve Grosko. He served Kansas City, KS as a police officer for 32 years where he was active with the bomb squad and retired as a Sergeant teaching at the Police Academy. John was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Police, Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Tri County Rod & Gun Club where he previously served as president and board member.John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce Grosko; sons, Andrew S. Grosko, John R. Grosko and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kelly and Jase; brothers, Gary Grosko and wife Sharon and Dan Grosko and wife Leeah.
