Jo Ann A. Lipovac, 79, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away December 17, 2015 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, December 22 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 274 Orchard, KCK. Visitation will begin at 9 A.M. at the Church and the Rosary will be said at 9:30. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KCK. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was born September 9, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas to Edward and Johanna Yocuis. Jo Ann was married to the late Donald Lipovac in 1961 and worked hand in hand with him throughout his long musical career teaching and performing in the Kansas City area, the U.S. and around the world. She was especially dedicated to the St. Johns Catholic Club Tamburitzans, and the Don Lipovac Orchestra Booster Club.
Jo Ann attended Bishop Ward High School and Donnelly College in KCK. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband. Surviving is her aunt, brother and sister in law, her nieces and many cousins.
