James Joseph "Jim "Eimer, 56, passed away January 4, 2016. Graveside services with military honors will be 10 am Friday, January 8th at Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors Program.
James was born February 2, 1959 in Kansas, MO to Raymond and Florence Eimer. He served in the United States Army for several tours overseas including Operation Desert Storm and Afghanistan. He retired from the Kansas National Guard and a member of the Strawberry Hill V.F.W. Post 7026 and American Legion Armourdale Post 188. James was preceded in death by his father; two brothers and a sister. He is survived by his mother, Flo Eimer; a sister, Mary Bishop and husband Richard Downs; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
