Helen Ann Kobe

Helen Ann Kobe, age 89, of Overland Park, KS, died peacefully Thursday, November 26, 2015, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Shawnee Mission, KS. Services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 8311 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, KS on Monday, December 7th. Rosary at 10 a.m., followed immediately by Visitation. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Inurnment at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunshine Club of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Helen was born August 31, 1926 to Nick and Antonia (Novogradac) Hotujec. The family resided in the Strawberry Hill community of KCK. Helen married Robert G Kobe on Oct 13, 1951. They had six children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an excellent homemaker and seamstress and enjoyed being a wife and mother. She loved flowers, pets and laughter. She was dedicated to the Catholic Church and a proud member of the Holy Cross Parish Sunshine Club.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband Robert of 64 years; children: Debra Lindsey, Stilwell, KS, Marsha (Steve) Harmon of Leawood, KS; Kristine Kobe, of Torrance, CA; Robert P Kobe, Patty (Nicole) Kobe, and Kathleen Kobe of Overland Park, KS. Grandchildren Taylor and Matthew Warden of Torrance, CA and brothers: Nick Hotujac and Paul Hotujac of Kansas City, KS. Condolences may be left at skradskifh-kc.com
