Frances 'Gerry' Zawacki

Frances "Gerry" Zawacki, 78, passed away April 28, 2017. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 3rd at Christ the King Church, 3024 N. 53rd St., Kansas City, KS where the rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM Thursday at Christ the King Church. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Community Hospice.
Gerry was born December 7, 1938 in Kansas City, KS to Francis and Madelyn Haff. She was a graduate of Bishop Ward High School where she later worked as the secretary from 1978- 1999. Gerry is survived by her husband, John Zawacki; children, Karen Horseman and husband David, Craig Zawacki and wife Denise, Carl Zawacki and wife Theresa, Kathy Hanks and husband Terry; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Fred Haff and wife Monica; 3 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Dillon and Jackie Haff. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.skradskifh-kc.com
