Everett 'Ed' A. Kilgore

Everett A Kilgore, 87 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019, at home surrounded by his family. Services will be Friday, July 26th beginning with Visitation at 10:00AM and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Inurnment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Family Church.
Everett was born, July 8, 1932 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Harrel and Wilma (Wolfe) Kilgore. He served as a Corporal in the Army from 1951 until 1954, during the Korean War. Everett married Charlotte Texter on December 21, 1953 on leave from the Army. Going on to raise nine children together. He worked for Campbells Soup Co., 12 years, TWA, 30 years then Cabelas, 4 years. Everett was always moving and shaking. In 2010 he became catholic and joined many of Holy Family Catholic Churchs Groups. Everett loved fishing, hunting and was always dancing or singing.
Everett leaves his wife Charlotte of 65 years, Daughters; Debbie (Phillip) Robinette, Cheryl Gibson, Karen (Dwayne)Young, Laurie (Sean) Murr, Maribeth (David) Willdermood, Ann (Jesse) Redic; Son, David (Kelley) Kilgore; Three Sisters; Ruth (Joe) Henshaw, Thelma (Gerald) Magnenat, Lois (Douglas) McConnell. Preceding him were his parents, two sons Gary and Steven Kilgore; grandchildren; Janet, Christopher and Stephanie; a sister, Margaret Shuart and a brother, Charles Kilgore.
