Elizabeth A Brockman, 66, passed on July 15th, peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved niece Lindy Rogers and her husband Josh Rogers, her great nephew Jason and her dear sister Pam Denning. Along with her dog Dexter, whom she called her "son", after her long battle with Chronic Kidney Disease.
Beth was preceded in death by her beloved mother Frances and her father Chester Brockman along with many other well loved family members.
She has 3 other brothers and 1 sister with 12 nieces and nephews with many great nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Beth Ann was born in Kansas City, KS in 1953, and spent most of her life a Kansas City, MO resident with only a couple years in Minnesota and Oklahoma. She lived at home with her mother longing for a life filled with traveling, driving, and what she would call "normal life", little did she know she was the normal one in this cold cruel world. She loved music of the 50's and 60's and would say this music only had one true meaning of love in her favorite songs she would listen to. Her favorite band was The Beatles, she was considered to be one of their biggest fans especially Sir Paul McCartney she always referred to as the "cute one". She would enjoy her days when her niece would come to visit sharing songs with her and one in particular was the song Let it be, she would refer to as the song she dedicated to her mother. "When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary, would comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness she is standing in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be.". She had a deep love for animals and environment and would grow saddened by the current events missing the simpler times. Her favorite holiday was Christmas time and couldn't wait for the first snow as she found it to be beautiful and take pictures of it throughout the years. She enjoyed when the family would gather around the family kitchen table to share a holiday meal, celebrate birthdays, or play a card game or two.
Her wit, her spunky demeanor would always be missed but the greatest thing is the unconditional love she had for everyone in her life. It never mattered on the mistakes made nor how many mistakes they would make she still always loved them all just as much and had the biggest forgiving heart.
She was a true treasure to anyone who crossed her path. Her smile and laughter will always shine brighter than the stars above, but the love she gave will always be remembered for years to come.
We love you Beth, to the moon and back!
