Elizabeth 'Betty' Rezin

Elizabeth "Betty" Rezin, 94 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Providence Medical Center. Visitation will be from 9-10AM with Mass of Christian Buial 10AM, Saturday, May 22, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 274 Orchard St, KCKS. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven, KCKS. Memorials may be given to Holy Family Catholic Church in Bettys Name.
Betty was born February 22, 1927 to John and Agnes (Poznik) Palcher, Slovenian Immigrants, in KCK, the youngest of 11 siblings. She stayed in KCK her whole life, married her husband William F. Rezin at Holy Family Catholic Church on February 14, 1953, where they raised their children. Betty loved being a Mom. She enjoyed being her daughters CYO volleyball and basketball coach where her teams won several championships. Was a shortstop for the Pecks Good Girls traveling softball team and also Fr. Jack OConnors team. Betty was a voracious reader, played the piano, accordion and ukulele. She loved listening to Polka music and Slovenian folk songs. Betty was a life long member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was the last remaining survivor of the Palcher Clan.
Surviving are children: William F. (Mitzi) Rezin Jr., Robert J. Rezin and Cathy (Christopher) Rezin Schneider, grandchildren; Christopher J. Schneider and Anne E. Schnieder and many beloved nieces and nephews and extended family.
Preceding her are her parents, husband and Eleven Siblings; John (Helen) Palcher, Frank (Elizabeth) Palcher, Agnes (Delmar) Hinkle, Edward (Mary) Palcher, Joseph (Leona) Palcher, Fred (Mary) Palcher, Anthony Palcher, William (Nancy) Palcher, Charles (Ehtel) Palcher, Walter (Louise) Palcher and Robert (Mary) Palcher.
