Edward Francis Seaman, 59, passed away Sept 7, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00 am Saturday, September 10th at St. John the Baptist Church, 708 N. 4th St., Kansas City, KS. A celebration of Eds life will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Mens Club. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Mens Club or to Holy Family Church.
Ed was born January 1, 1957 in Kansas City, KS to Joseph and Florence Seaman. He was a graduate of Schlagle High School. Ed worked as a film & video lighting professional and all around handyman. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph (Sam) Seaman. Survivors include his mother, Florence, daughter Rachel Janose, brothers, Steve Seaman, Joe Seaman and wife Elly, and Jim Seaman; sisters, Joan Lyman and husband Tom, Liz (Iguana) Gilstrap and husband Kevin (Bucky) Gilstrap, Michele Weakley and husband Scott and Rose Seaman, and brother in law Danny Valverde. Nieces and nephews, Gary and Sara Harris, Lauren Gilstrap, Sam and Melissa Seaman, and Grand niece Ryleigh Rose Harris.
