David Sainich

March 3, 1940 — August 8, 2017

David W. Sainich passed away on Aug 8th at St Annes Extended Care in Winona MN. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Thursday Sept. 7th with visitation beginning at 9:00 am at St. Johns Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th, Kansas City, Kansas. Inurnment following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
David was born March 3, 1940 to Mary Ann (Mance) and William Sainich of Kansas City, Ks. He attended St. John the Baptist Grade School, Bishop Ward High School and Donnelly College. He lived for the past 30 years in California where he worked as a manufacturing rep for several different apparel companies before specializing in medical uniforms and scrubs. He traveled the western portion of the country calling on clients who often became personal friends.
Proceeding David in death were his parents, William and Mary Ann Sainich. He is survived by his 4 sisters, Rita (Terry) Overcash, Madison Ms., Claudia Sainich Hamil Winona, Mn., Monica (Mike) Hale, Basehor, Ks. and Adrianne (Curt) Somers Lawrence, Ks. He was a loving uncle to 10 nieces and nephews and many great and grand nieces and nephews.
David also leaves Connie (his best friend) and Darryl Reder of California, whom he considered family.
David won many friends with his gift of gab, his humor and his engaging smile.
He was a foodie he loved food, loved talking about it, making it, eating it and taking friends to eat it. He entertained friends and family with his ever present wit and contagious laugh.
David loved his family, his Croatian/Slovenian heritage and driving nice cars. He will be missed by many.
