Catherine was a long-time member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS and most recently became a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor, KS.
Catherine, the Matriarch of the Locke family, was an accomplished homemaker and she loved to cook for her large family. At an early age Catherine worked in her Mom and Dads restaurant in KCK where she learned how to make some of the familys favorite Polish dishes. Some of her specialties were pierogi, Polish sausage, golabki (cabbage rolls), cinnamon candy, and povitica as well as many different desserts. Her cookie trays during the Holidays were always a family favorite. She was also a huge Chiefs, and KU Jayhawk fan, but nothing stood in her way when it came to watching her favorite golfer Phil Michelson.
Catherine loved to volunteer her time, which included the Sisters Servants of Mary, Christ the King Catholic Church and School (where she was one of the Sloppy Joe Lunch Ladies) , Bishop Ward High School, and Providence Hospital, which led to her only job outside of the home.
Catherines dedication to her Catholic faith, and her endless love for her entire family, are an inspiration to all and will be treasured memories for her entire family.
