Carol Ann Lobeck

Carol Ann Lobeck, 87 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away peacefully, Thursday March 30th , 2023 at North Kansas City Hospice with family at her side. Until her admission to Hospice on Saturday, March 25th, Carol lived independently in the Strawberry Hill home in which she was born, assisted by a team of devoted caregivers.

Services for Carol will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N 4th Street, Kansas City, Kansas on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM, followed by the Praying of the Rosary and the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 38th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas.

Carol was born June 8, 1935 to Joseph and Diana (Macek) Lobek. After graduating from Ward High School, Carol worked until retirement in various administrative roles in Kansas City and Wyandotte County government. For the past 30 years, Carol has been a devoted Godmother to Elizabeth Kobe Norris Potts, formerly of Scottsdale, Arizona and currently of Dallas, Texas. Carol is a life-long member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and prayed her rosary, unfailingly, daily.

Carol is loved – and will be missed – by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
