Barbara (Suljak) Kralj, 93, passed away Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Providence Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Thurs., March 31, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, on Strawberry Hill with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM Wed. March 30, at Skradski Funeral Home, 340 N. 6th St., KC, KS with Rosary at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Johns Church.
Barbara was born January 2, 1923 in Mrzljaki, Croatia to Nick and Roza (Fracul) Suljak, immigrated with her husband Mike Kralj to the US in 1969 where she worked at Ace Electric on the Assembly line until 1985. Barbara loved taking care of her family, her holiday dinners and birthday celebrations were her favorite events.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; two sisters: Mary Pavlovic and Ana Brkopac; two infant daughters; son-in-law: Nick Fabina, grandson: Joe Fabina; and daughter Anick Kralj. She is survived by her two daughters: Mary Fabina and Barbara (Slavko) Galic; three grandchildren: Kathy (Matt) Parr, Steven (Vijaya) Galic and Allan (Angel) Galic; three great grandchildren: Caton Galic, Paden and Dalton Parr and nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Canada and Croatia.
