Austin Michael Quijas 1990-2019 "The kid always smiling, with the biggest heart." Austin Michael Quijas was born December 31, 1990, died August 25, 2019. Austin is survived by his loving mother Victoria Quijas and father Alexander Quijas. His older brother and sister Alex N. and Natalie Quijas and nieces and nephews. Austin was a family man. Family always came first. He would take his mother on lunch and dinner dates. Austin would take care of his nieces and nephews by playing ball or taking them to the latest Avenger movie. He loved sports and going to events with his friends and family. He was very athletic and always tried to get his family together to playball or BBQ. He was a Protector, Leader, always energetic and there for his family and friends whenever they needed him. He never wanted to let anyone down. Austin always tried to please everyone. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it more. Austin would be the first to crack a joke, hed make you laugh. Hed make you smile. He was the life of the party.

Funeral services for Austin Michael Quijas will begin Wednesday August 28th, 2019 with a Visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at The Cathedral of St. Peter, 409 N. 15th, Kansas City, Kansas. Rosary will begin at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday the 29th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Please, Please, Please pray for the family and for the ending of violence in our City.
