Anthony "Tony" Skabialka, 93, passed away August 21, 2015. Visitation will be August 25, at 9 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 811 Vermont, KC, KS, with the funeral Mass at 10 AM. Burial following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KC, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the Serra Club.
Tony was a resident of KCK for most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps in Europe. Tony graduated from UMKC with a degree in accounting and worked for many years at Columbian Steel Tank. He was a member of the Serra Club and All Saints Catholic Church serving in various capacities, including as a lay minister. He served on the board of directors and participated in the Annual Polski Day activities for many years.
Tony was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Bernice. He is survived by his great-nephew, Michael Smythe of Edwardsville, KS and his nephew, Joseph Smythe.
