Alfred J. Novosel, 92 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, Feb. 9th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 22nd & Parallel, KCK, with Visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Sisters, Servants of Mary.
Alfred was born March 17, 1923 in Kansas City, Ks to Peter and Ann (Dolinar) Novosel. He was married in 1948 to his late wife Ann (Peresko) Novosel for 58 years. Alfred was known for his outstanding Povitica. He didnt know a stranger and made friends with everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ann; many brothers and sisters. Alfred is survived by his son Gregory Novosel and daughter Cathy Kokoruda (Paul); Grandchildren Katie Novosel, Kelly Jarczyk (Dan), Kevin Novosel, Eddie and Laurie Kokoruda and 3 great grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Alfreds caregivers; Jack & Juanita, Eilene, Anna, Sandy, Carol, Gina and Crossroad Hospice.
